Heavy Rain Lights Up The N4G Charts

I should have titled this one “Oh what a little T&A will do for you!” but wanted to keep this article strictly business. LOL – maybe I should just do a reply for T&A Thursday and compare scores as the week progresses, but I digress.

I decided to take a quick look at the latest news and notes on N4G, and was not at all surprised to see a story about sex, in this case the ESRB’s description of Heavy Rain’s sexual content, lighting up the charts. The article currently sits at 740 degrees, and is sure to move up later today. A holiday will do wonders for your T&A hits when all the horny teenagers have nothing to do except surf for soft porn.

For what it is worth, in this case I specifically did not quote any of the T&A content from the article so as to keep references and hits somewhat on topic.

Whatever happened to Meg Ryan?

I am in sort of in a pensive mood watching Favre and his Vikings take on the Houston Texans. The Vikings have a chance to be very good. The defense is sold, and of course Adrian Peterson can be fantastic as long as he holds onto the ball. Favre just needs to manage most games and the Vikings will do OK.

Speaking of old timers, I thought this Meg Ryan tribute/slideshow/train wreck was interesting. I was in the cute as a button camp; too bad she did not age gracefully.

Strange Wii-ness: Sexy Poker

I started to save this for T&A Thursday, but why not tackle this one now? Sexy Poker has to be one of the strangest games on the Wii. Everything about this one does not fit with Nintendo wholesomeness. GamePro Arcade has a brief write-up of the game.

It’s strip poker with a bunch of still pictures of cartoon girls who strip down (they don’t actually strip, the clothing just vanishes) to their underwear. That’s right, no nudity here. This is PG-13 porn, in an M-rated game.

Hmmmmm. Apparently you play some poker, and if you win you get to see some hentai style rewards. Go figure.

T&A Thursday Features PS3 Porn (sort of).

T&A Thursday returns with a little porn action for the PS3 courtesy of kotaku.

Japan’s DDM.tv is bringing on-demand Blu-ray quality HD adult movies to the PLAYSTATION 3.

The service requires a broadband connection, an HDMI cable and, obviously, a PS3 console — the only device the service works with presently.

Yeah. I think this is only in Japan, but where there is a will there is a way. I’m just saying. Read the article’s comments; some of them are screwed up.

T&A Saturday

I was going to save this one for the return of T&A Thursday, but this is just too good to pass up. Videogames and T&A go hand-in-hand, and to prove the point, Pixelatedgeek posted this nice photo gallery of Jessica Nigri as a poke-a-something-or-another.

Could you imagine if all pokemon looked this hot? Nintendo is missing out on so many opportunities. Once the series is all but tapped out with their primary audience, they could start peddling sort porn pokemon images to the horny teenager crowd, and the move on to full on T&A for dirty old bastards like your truly. The possibilities are endless!

Sunday morning news and notes.

It’s Sunday morning, so it must be time for some random ramblings, news, and notes.

Prayers for Massa
Each morning while I am enjoying my morning coffee I usually check out a number of sites including ESPN. Thanks to FOX [not really; that was said with venom] I do not get to see the Hungarian GP live. It should be starting within the hour. I was saddened to see that Ferrari’s Massa was in a massive accident.

Ferrari driver Felipe Massa underwent surgery on life-threatening skull injuries Saturday from a high-speed crash during Hungarian Grand Prix qualifying. He was in stable condition in the intensive care unit of a military hospital.

The accident happened when a loose part from another car hit Massa in the helmet, causing him to veer into a tire-lined barrier at about 120 mph. The front of his car was shredded, with both tires gone and the front nose open.

Thoughts and prayers go out to Massa.

Trophy patch for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
Because gaming is better with trophies. From the examiner

LucasArts also quietly revealed that they are adding trophy support to the Playstation 3 version of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Here is the confirmation from the official Twitter of LucasArts Games:

“Just confirmed to me: TFU on PS3 to get trophy support with the Sith Edition. Will find more out Monday (plane takes of in a few hours)”

And all of the IGN gamers rejoiced!

I did not purchase TFU because of all the mixed reviews. Metacritic has this one rated a shaky 71% (based on 47 reviews). The reviews area all over the map. When TFU was first released I thought it would have been a waste of money at $59.99, but now that the game is selling for $26.99, I think this one may provide some good clean fun. Too many game, not enough time.

When gaming nudity does not count.
I should have saved this one for T&A Thursday, but I could not resist posting now. joystiq has an article on Dragon Age: Origins. I do not really know much about the game, but I have seen a few hopeful posts that suggest that we will get to see simulated sex and breasteses in all their CG glory. Something like that. I followed the article’s ESRB link to get to this gem:

Though the game never features human nudity, one female demon character is briefly depicted with bare breasts.

LMAO.

Happy Sunday!

Thursday is hotness day.

T&A Thursday continues in spectacular fashion. You have to applaud Gamervision for their excellent research. Girl in Evony Ad Slowly Shedding Clothing documents … well I am not exactly sure what is being documented other than how a little T&A gets us through the day.

Well, being the fantastic journalist I am, I’ve been looking very, very closely at these ads. After hours and hours of research I’ve happened upon a discovery: the girl in the Evony advertisments is slowly losing her clothing. If she continues along this path, she’ll be completely naked in a matter of days.

This is an important discovery. Stay tuned!

And then there is Olivia Munn.

Why not start off the day with a couple of T&A type posts. Unlike the Erin Andrews story, at least this one from DualShockers titled Olivia Munn Breaking Gamer Stereotypes has a videogame tie-in. After all it is over 800 degrees at N4G. That speaks volumes for the hornyness of male gamers.

Not only did Olivia prove that she could grab the cover while staying classy and not revealing everything, she also showed that gamers are infiltrating all kinds of mediums, even Playboy! This is not only a hot photo shoot but also a great step forward for the image of all gamers.

I am taking a lot of this out of context. The author is trying to say that the stereotypical image of gamers has changed, and now it is changing more thanks to Olivia Munn’s non nude pictorial shoot in the most recent PlayBoy.

I cannot agree with this assessment. I am a semi infrequent Attack of the Show fan; I watch it occasionally, and it is nice seeing some eye candy. That is really as far as this goes. I do not believe that Munn is breaking down stereotypes, instead she is just giving everyone a little T&A. She may be a “girl gamer” (a term which I despise), but showing up in PlayBoy hardly makes a “great step forward for the image of all gamers.”

Hopefully I have missed the point and the article went over my head.

What kind of Street Fighter fan are you anyway?

When the hottest N4G story of the day is one for nude Street Fighter IV skins, you know it is a seriously slow news day. Dog days of summer? Maybe. Seriously, WTF is wrong with these people? By these people, I mean the ones making this story red hot, not the folks that wasted time and energy trying to make SF characters show in the buff.

In other news …

Even Doves have pride – so says Prince.

The duck is down.
If I were a betting man, now would be the time to buy some Columbus, GA based Aflac stock. Showing the volatility in the current topsy-turvy market, two days ago Aflac shares plummeted 36% on news that Morgan Stanley recommended investors avoid buying Aflac stock before its fourth quarter earnings report is released February 2. Yesterday the duck quacked back:

Aflac’s shares soared 16.3%, or $3.74, to $26.64, in afternoon trading. But they remained below the Wednesday closing level of $36.27.

So buy now and gamble that the European hybrid securities fears are over blown. If you are right, shares will jump like a bunny in heat, but if you are wrong, you need to stop playing with matches.

What was he thinking?
Our new President believes it will be a good idea to release Guantanamo detainees. Who the hell wants them? Maybe Iran? Or do we just drop them off in Miami and hope for the best. I can understand that Democrats disagree with the previous administration’s tactics on getting information (i.e. torture policies) from terrorist suspects, but how can anyone agree that releasing these SOBs is going to end well for America? The Guantanamo detainees are hell-bent on murder and destroying the American way.

Flight Simulator takes one on the chin.
I am not sure I thought I would ever see the day when Microsoft would cut 5000 positions. It looks like the gaming world will also take a hit; the Flight Simulator franchise is now in limbo.

Microsoft confirmed Friday that the software giant has shuttered ACES Studios, the developer of the Flight Simulator series of games, whose latest incarnation is Flight Simulator X. The simulation is considered Microsoft’s oldest product, whose original version first shipped in 1982.

This economy serious sucks.

Pass me the chips. Eye candy is back!
If you read this blog, chances are that you smoked a lefty last night. So says some folks at BYU that produced this brilliant observation:

“those who play video games daily smoke pot twice as much as other players and three times more than those who never play”

for some kissing – © SI

Speaking of BYU; need some help kissing? Don’t ask me how I found this one, but I figured if you spend all your time in front of a gaming PC or console, you probably could use a little advice.

All for now. Happy Saturday!

NCAA Football 09 Discussions (Eye Candy)

I have been participating in a fun discussion over at the digitalsportsgame.com. If you want to read some intelligent, diverse discussion on the game, check out this thread.

Whats more delicious? Tori Praver or NCAA Football 09? – © SI.com

I am biased, but I think my last comments in the thread (check out page 10) were pretty much on the mark, but your mileage may vary:

“In general, I think the game is fun. Warts and all. Hell, I could pick out flaws in any game, it’s just that some of the ones in NCAA Football are glaring. Besides, I am very passionate about college football.

This is a guess, because I am not part of the mass market, casual gamer crowd … at least not yet. I think the focus groups (or whatever EA uses for these types of things) decided that gamers want high scoring games. Focus on offense. Focus on big plays, exciting hits, and high powered offense.

Look at the Madden tournaments as examples of offense out of control. Those games would feature higher scoring if the games featured longer quarters.

The truth is that we, the more niche sports videogame simulation fan, enjoy defense, ball control, running the option, etc. It is not what everyone else wants, so the majority rules. We can only hope that sliders allow us to adjust the game closer to our liking. Big oops this year on the sliders.”

Anyway, the rest of the thread is a good read. Check it out. And yes, I have been looking for an excuse to throw up more eye candy.

Give them what they want. GT5 Eye Candy.

I spent a goodly amount of time with Gran Turismo 5 Prologue today. Sure, it is eye candy, but it is the candy everybody wants.

At this point I only have a couple of Gold Trophies to earn in the C Class events. Race C-3 (Cappaccino Time Target) and C-9 (FF Challenge). I have a Silver Trophy in the former (1:39.570 is my current fastest time), and a Bronze Trophy in the latter (I need to work at this one). I will give it another go again tonight, and I should have some time tomorrow to see if I can knock off one or both.

I had a blast getting the Gold Trophy in C-8 (Honda Integra Mission) at Daytona. It was not until I switched to manual, and picked up the draft from almost every car I passed, that I actually found my way across the finish line first. I never considered that manual transmission at a super speedway would be important, but it made a difference. Catching the draft was incredible exciting. Enough so that I am seriously consider picking up NASCAR 09. Daytona Gran Turismo style, getting ready to watch the Coke Zero 400, some beer, and of course Tori will also do the trick.
