Apparently it is very uncouth to drink a 16-year old single malt scotch over the rocks. Who would have known? I drink bourbon over the rocks; let it melt … delicious. Very much a no-no with a quality whisky; or so I was lectured last night.
Live and learn.
Yup, only thing that you can add is a splash of room temp water. Only heathens and longhorn fans dring whiskey on the rocks!
I think all you can do is live and learn, and do it again proper the next time.
And yes, I am a heathen. 😉
I come for the quality writing, I stay for the life lessons.
It’s never occured to me to drink whisky on the rocks, but then it’s never occured to me that I shouldn’t either. I’ll have to write that one down.
