Don’t Believe the Hype!

Forgot to post this earlier, but some interesting news for iPod owners. Apple is very good at innovating, but very bad at understanding consumers. At least consumers who think rationally and aren’t dazzled by Apple’s brilliance. There’s a long list of great Apple ideas that were fully exploited by other companies. A vintage Apple Newton sits in a file cabinet in my office.

I love my iPod.
Not sure about the battery. Only had my first one for 4 months before getting my upgrade due to the iPod meets the street thing. Not sure how long the iPod photo’s battery will last, but if it is only a year or two, I am covered under that Best Buy service plan thing.
And for what it is worth - I was not thinking rationally when I purchased the service plan from Best Buy, but I was dazzled by Apple’s brilliance with the iPod.
