Typical Georgia/South Carolina game. For the sixth time in the past eight years, the game was decided by seven points or less.
Give credit to the fighting chickens; their defense was very good. Or does that mean that the Dawgs offense stumbled?
- TE Chandler dropped three very catchable balls.
- Moreno rushed for 79 yards on 20 carries, with a TD. 2 receptions for 13 yards. Returned a punt for 32 yards.
- 11 f’ing penalties, resulting in giving up 112 yards.
- Georgia controlled time of possession 35:13 to 24:47. Georgia had the ball 13:20 minutes in the Second Quarter.
When all was said and done, Georgia forced two key turnovers, which really were the game. My theory is that Georgia always plays down to their competition, and South Carolina brings out the worst in Georgia.
A win is a win, no matter how dirty. Go Dawgs!
