Super (Dis)Connected

With apologies to Belly, I just spent a wonderful week in FL on the gorgeous Gulf Coast. Seafood a-plenty, beer for breakfast, crystal clear water, gorgeous white sand, and all around family fun.

Except for my work blackberry (answered too many emails), my wife’s Razor (I think she is addicted to texting), and my Vita (never turned it on), we were completely disconnected. I took the family laptop, figuring we would use it on a daily basis for our typical internet-ing activities, but we didn’t actually have a wireless access point at our condo. No worries; we survived.

The scary thing about being disconnected was that I don’t think I even missed it. Of course that may have something to do with the seafood eating, beer drinking, and over all beach-going fun.
