Sports Interactive announced that SEGA purchased the company yesterday. I’m not sure whether this is a good or a bad thing since the SEGA branch SI dealt with can’t seem to get their games on U.S. retailer shelves. The last time SI was purchased, it ended up in a divorce with the company losing its “Football Manager” rights.

You’ve got your facts a little muddled Chris.
Firstly, this is the first time ever SI have been purchased. The split from Eidos was a publishing contract. As SI owned the code and the database, we took these and signed an agrement with SEGA to publish our titles under a new game name
This deal announced yesterday is the full purchase of the studio by SEGA.
The US issues are important to me and we’re working on some strategies with SEGA.
I am corrected sir!
