{"id":895,"date":"2007-05-31T21:21:13","date_gmt":"2007-06-01T01:21:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.calvertgames.com\/cgblog\/2007\/05\/31\/the-good-the-bad-and-the-not-so-good\/"},"modified":"2007-05-31T21:21:13","modified_gmt":"2007-06-01T01:21:13","slug":"the-good-the-bad-and-the-not-so-good","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.calvertgames.com\/cgblog\/2007\/05\/31\/the-good-the-bad-and-the-not-so-good\/","title":{"rendered":"The good, the bad, and the not so good."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have been feeling like crap of late.\u00a0 A sinus infection and another not so nice type of infection pretty much zapped me, made vacation not so fun, putting me behind at work.\u00a0 Sigh.\u00a0 I guess I will have to catch up sooner or later.<\/p>\n<p>On the positive side of the ledger, the Dell support person showed up today, on time no less, and replaced the display screen (and wiring harness) in my wife\u2019s laptop.\u00a0 Things look good as new.\u00a0 Happy days.\u00a0 This level of support has once again made me a satisfied Dell customer.<\/p>\n<p>Things took a turn for the worse with the wife\u2019s Chrysler Voyager today; a new transmission and controller is extremely expensive.\u00a0 Major downer; that would be not so good.\u00a0 That may be enough to put the brakes on the PS3 purchase, which may or may not be a good thing (see my last post about the state of the PS3 library).<\/p>\n<p>Depending on your perspective, this may or may not be good, but over the last week, I have had a little more time to game.\u00a0 Mostly GT4, with some WoW and OOTPB 2007 for good measure.\u00a0 Faltutin, my gnome mage just hit level 37.\u00a0 I doubt that makes me big time or anything, but I think it is a decent accomplishment.\u00a0 Well, a time consuming achievement that probably has more to do with my hack and slash style instead of any real skill with the game.<\/p>\n<p>It is still early, but I think it is time to call it a night.\u00a0 Tomorrow could be PS3 impression day, or it could be Chrysler Voyager sucks eggs (preventing me from getting a PS3) day.<\/p>\n<div class=\"addtoany_share_save_container addtoany_content_bottom\"><div class=\"a2a_kit a2a_kit_size_ addtoany_list a2a_target\" id=\"wpa2a_1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.addtoany.com\/share\" onclick=\"__gaTracker('send', 'event', 'outbound-article', 'https:\/\/www.addtoany.com\/share', '');\" class=\"a2a_dd addtoany_share_save\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.calvertgames.com\/cgblog\/wp-content\/plugins\/add-to-any\/share_save_171_16.png\" width=\"171\" height=\"16\" alt=\"Share\"\/><\/a>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"><!--\nif(wpa2a)wpa2a.script_load();\n\/\/--><\/script>\n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have been feeling like crap of late.\u00a0 A sinus infection and another not so nice type of infection pretty much zapped me, made vacation not so fun, putting me behind at work.\u00a0 Sigh.\u00a0 I guess I will have to catch up sooner or later.
