Mostly because I was curious, partly because I wanted to download some specific demos, PSOne Classics, avatars and themes that are not available in the US, and finally just because I wanted to give it a go.<\/p>\n<p>It was actually pretty straight forward, with my biggest questions being if I could <a href=\"http:\/\/wiki.answers.com\/Q\/Can_you_use_the_same_email_address_for_two_different_PlayStation_Network_accounts\" onclick=\"__gaTracker('send', 'event', 'outbound-article', 'http:\/\/wiki.answers.com\/Q\/Can_you_use_the_same_email_address_for_two_different_PlayStation_Network_accounts', 're-use my current US PSN registered email account');\" target=\"_blank\">re-use my current US PSN registered email account<\/a>, and how the heck to <a href=\"http:\/\/blip.tv\/youcanplaythis\/the-pipeline-navigating-the-japanese-psn-store-4789123\" onclick=\"__gaTracker('send', 'event', 'outbound-article', 'http:\/\/blip.tv\/youcanplaythis\/the-pipeline-navigating-the-japanese-psn-store-4789123', 'navigate the Japanese store');\" target=\"_blank\">navigate the Japanese store<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Now my biggest issue is that I need to spend $50 or so to buy a Japanese 3,000 YEN PSN card that is only worth about $35 (after the exchange rate).
