With that said, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/entertainment\/2012\/06\/01\/dc-comics-green-lantern-is-now-gay\/\" onclick=\"__gaTracker('send', 'event', 'outbound-article', 'http:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/entertainment\/2012\/06\/01\/dc-comics-green-lantern-is-now-gay\/', 'I do have a bone to pick with DC Comics');\" target=\"_blank\">I do have a bone to pick with DC Comics<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In my opinion it\u2019s an absolute travesty what the liberal media is doing to push its agenda; attempting to ram its collective anti-religious, anti-main stream, out of touch values down the throats of Americans. Their minds are set \u2013 if you are against this you are a homophobe, vindictive, intolerant SOB bigot.<\/p>\n<p>How on God\u2019s Green Earth does any company in its right mind decide to reinvent history and make the original Golden Age Green Lantern, Alan Scott, gay? He was not gay in 1940, but now he has to be gay because that is what society demands? Who exactly is demanding that Green Lantern, much less other original <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nypost.com\/p\/news\/national\/dc_comics_green_lantern_to_be_revealed_Yt2uNktuzmrrWSbkIRIDbO\" onclick=\"__gaTracker('send', 'event', 'outbound-article', 'http:\/\/www.nypost.com\/p\/news\/national\/dc_comics_green_lantern_to_be_revealed_Yt2uNktuzmrrWSbkIRIDbO', 'super heroes must be gay');\" target=\"_blank\">super heroes must be gay<\/a> in order to \u201ckeep up\u201d with the times?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIt\u2019s a realistic depiction of society,\u201d he said. \u201cYou have to move with the times.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI hope he\u2019s a positive figure. If there\u2019s some kind of kid out there who\u2019s reading the comic and who\u2019s worried about the person he is, maybe it will give him a positive sense of who he is.
