Christmas Eve Day – The long day of the year!

All three boys were up this morning before the crack of 6:30, bouncing off the walls, and making a general ruckus as boys are often want to do. Of course I did not help matters by loading the dog in the van, heading to Dunkin’ Donuts, and bring home some extra sugar to facilitate the ruckus making and wall bouncing. That is why God invented coffee! I might add that the hazel nut is delicious.

Except for the kids going nuts in anticipation of Santa’s arrival, we will probably have a mostly quiet day. Tonya is continuing with the Christmas goodies – sausage balls are the order of the day this morning. I will probably get in a morning run, and maybe con one of the boys into joining me for the first half mile or so. And of course there is the annual Grinch watching, Christmas Eve service, dinner with my parents, and settling down for the night.

Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas!
