{"id":911,"date":"2007-06-10T15:09:40","date_gmt":"2007-06-10T19:09:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.calvertgames.com\/cgblog\/2007\/06\/10\/canadian-grand-prix\/"},"modified":"2007-06-10T15:09:40","modified_gmt":"2007-06-10T19:09:40","slug":"canadian-grand-prix","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.calvertgames.com\/cgblog\/2007\/06\/10\/canadian-grand-prix\/","title":{"rendered":"Canadian Grand Prix"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Whoever said F1 was boring must have made that proclamation before the Montreal race.\u00a0 Seriously, I used to follow F1 religiously until the last couple of years when passing only became possible in the pit lanes (with a few exceptions).\u00a0 OK, boring was a good description.\u00a0 While F1 was still the pinnacle of motor sports, it was just not that compelling.\u00a0 As such, I have only been a casual observer until the last few races.\u00a0 Hamilton is a compelling story, and seeing how Ferrari will respond to not having Schumacher carry the load is a compelling story.<\/p>\n<p>Today\u2019s race was disappointing because FOX did not give us the HDTV treatment, but oh, what a race.<\/p>\n<p>I am not even sure where to begin.\u00a0 I guess I should give credit where credit is due; Hamilton continues to be awesome.\u00a0 What a wonderful start to his rookie season.<\/p>\n<p>You expect these sort of results in wet weather \u2013 Hamilton, Heidfeld, Wurz, Kovalainen, Raikkonen, Sato, Alonso, and R.
