{"id":693,"date":"2006-09-23T12:44:03","date_gmt":"2006-09-23T16:44:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.calvertgames.com\/cgblog\/2006\/09\/23\/sec-preview-week-4\/"},"modified":"2006-09-23T18:31:01","modified_gmt":"2006-09-23T22:31:01","slug":"sec-preview-week-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.calvertgames.com\/cgblog\/2006\/09\/23\/sec-preview-week-4\/","title":{"rendered":"SEC Preview (Week 4)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is not an interesting weekend in the SEC, and I am pressed for time [forgot to post this before the kids\u2019 soccer games], so let\u2019s get this thing started.<\/p>\n<p><b>Marshall \u2013 Tennessee<\/b><br \/>\nSomewhat of a breather this week for Tennessee.\u00a0 I suppose they could have something of a major lack of focus after the Gator debacle.<\/p>\n<p><b>Mississippi State \u2013 UAB<\/b><br \/>\nThese Bulldogs stink.\u00a0 By stink, I mean they are going to embarrass the SEC by taking one on the chin today.<\/p>\n<p><b>Tennessee State \u2013 Vanderbilt<\/b><br \/>\nVanderbilt will claim their first victory of the year.<\/p>\n<p><b>Florida Atlantic \u2013 South Carolina<\/b><br \/>\nIt should be a laugher for the Gamecocks, but SC has no offense, so they will win this one ugly.<\/p>\n<p><b>Tulane \u2013 (10) LSU<\/b><br \/>\nThese Tigers are going to make it two SEC victories in a row for the Green Wave.\u00a0 LSU by 35+.<\/p>\n<p><b>Kentucky \u2013 (5) Florida<\/b><br \/>\nThis one has a huge ouch factor for the Wildcats.\u00a0 This one will be over quickly.<\/p>\n<p><b>Mississippi \u2013 Wake Forest<\/b><br \/>\nOne of the two Mississippi teams will win TRB SEC Shame of the Week Award.\u00a0 I am going to have to pull for Ole Miss in this one; they should manage to take out an ACC bottom feeder.<\/p>\n<p><b>Alabama \u2013 Arkansas<\/b><br \/>\nEveryone knows I hate the Razorbacks, so no reason not to pull for the Tide this afternoon.\u00a0 Bama\u2019s defense will be stout, but the Tide will have to find some offense to pull this one out, but as usual, the defense will be stout.<\/p>\n<p><b>Buffalo \u2013 (2) Auburn<\/b><br \/>\nNo reason for the Tigers not to remain undefeated.<\/p>\n<p><b>Colorado \u2013 (9) Georgia<\/b><br \/>\nThis game will be close early, but Georgia should be able to pull this one out in the second half.<\/p>\n<p>In other games of note, (7) Texas will continue to get healthy, this week Iowa State will be the victim of a 28+ point thrashing.<\/p>\n<div class=\"addtoany_share_save_container addtoany_content_bottom\"><div class=\"a2a_kit a2a_kit_size_ addtoany_list a2a_target\" id=\"wpa2a_1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.addtoany.com\/share\" onclick=\"__gaTracker('send', 'event', 'outbound-article', 'https:\/\/www.addtoany.com\/share', '');\" class=\"a2a_dd addtoany_share_save\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.calvertgames.com\/cgblog\/wp-content\/plugins\/add-to-any\/share_save_171_16.png\" width=\"171\" height=\"16\" alt=\"Share\"\/><\/a>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"><!--\nif(wpa2a)wpa2a.script_load();\n\/\/--><\/script>\n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is not an interesting weekend in the SEC, and I am pressed for time [forgot to post this before the kids\u2019 soccer games], so let\u2019s get this thing started.
