Christmas Cheer has been replaced with generic \u201c\u2026 Wishing you and yours a joyous Holiday Season \u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I suppose from a \u201cwe should not exclude or offend anyone\u201d standpoint a neutered holiday greeting is all well and good, if not a little disappointing.  It is not as if Christians everywhere go out of their way to spit in the faces of non-believers, doing their level best to be as offensive as possible with a Merry Christmas greeting.<\/p>\n<p>Alas, for Christians, Christmas is a festive time, which unfortunately has become synonymous with shopping.  Ah, commercialism has a way of spoiling (or exploiting) darn near every special occasion out there, which is really a shame.  Then again, to be perfectly honest, I expect Santa to hide a few PS3 games under my Christmas tree!<\/p>\n<p>Thankfully we have <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0059026\/quotes\" onclick=\"__gaTracker('send', 'event', 'outbound-article', 'http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0059026\/quotes', 'Linus Van Pelt');\" target=\"_blank\">Linus Van Pelt<\/a> to help remind everyone what Christmas is all about.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Charlie Brown: Isn\u2019t there anyone who knows what Christmas is all about?<\/p>\n<p>Linus Van Pelt: Sure, Charlie Brown, I can tell you what Christmas is all about.<\/p>\n<p>Linus Van Pelt: \u201cAnd there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
