April 15 may have come and gone, but the sting of Big Government\u2019s tax bite is always present. Congressman Lynn A. Westmoreland 3rd District of Georgia<\/a> has the following to say about our new Health Care spending machine (AKA ObamaCare):<\/p>\n

\u201cJust this week we learned that the Joint Committee on Taxation \u2013 Congress\u2019s official scorekeeper \u2013 estimates ObamaCare will raise taxes by $15.2 billion over ten years beginning in 2013 due to limits placed on the medical expense deduction. What\u2019s more appalling, the committee says this will affect 14.7 million middle-class taxpayers earning less than $200,000 a year. Clearly this is not looking out for the best interests of American taxpayers, much less future generations.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

More than ever I like the idea of a flat tax. It is simple, it is fair, and everyone contributes without any loopholes. What could be fairer? 10% for the Government, 10% to God and Church, 10% to a savings plan, with the remaining 70% left over to living.<\/p>\n
