I am considering a new PC\/laptop just for this sort of thing (i.e. gaming).  I would not get a gaming rig per say, but something that is more powerful than what I am currently using.<\/p>\n<p>Looking at the metacritic scores, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.metacritic.com\/games\/platforms\/pc\/dragonageorigins\" onclick=\"__gaTracker('send', 'event', 'outbound-article', 'http:\/\/www.metacritic.com\/games\/platforms\/pc\/dragonageorigins', 'PC (91%)');\" target=\"new\">PC (91%)<\/a> has received the highest ratings followed by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.metacritic.com\/games\/platforms\/ps3\/dragonageorigins\" onclick=\"__gaTracker('send', 'event', 'outbound-article', 'http:\/\/www.metacritic.com\/games\/platforms\/ps3\/dragonageorigins', 'PS3 (89%)');\" target=\"new\">PS3 (89%)<\/a> and then the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.metacritic.com\/games\/platforms\/xbox360\/dragonageorigins\" onclick=\"__gaTracker('send', 'event', 'outbound-article', 'http:\/\/www.metacritic.com\/games\/platforms\/xbox360\/dragonageorigins', '360 (86%)');\" target=\"new\">360 (86%)<\/a>.  The PS3 scores are interesting because the game (as I understand it) was ported from the PC\/360 \u2013 and somehow the PS3 version has higher ratings than the 360?  Maybe that means that PS3 reviewers have lower standards?
