This is not so good.  Everyone was expecting the portable version of GT to be a PSPGo system seller.  Not so much according to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.computerandvideogames.com\/article.php?id=223409\" onclick=\"__gaTracker('send', 'event', 'outbound-article', 'http:\/\/www.computerandvideogames.com\/article.php?id=223409', 'CVG');\" target=\"new\">CVG<\/a>, scoring the game a 6.7 out of 10.  Ouch.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p> It\u2019s easily the most realistic handling we\u2019ve seen in a PSP driving game, and all this is done at a silky smooth 60 frames per second which, on the little screen, looks lush. That\u2019s why screenshots and trailers had us all excited. But great handling and a smooth frame rate aren\u2019t the only important factors of a racing game, and GT PSP falls short in almost every other area.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This is not something you want to see in the first two or three paragraphs of a review.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p> The main mode of the game has no structure. Hit the single-player option and you have three modes; the standard Time Trial (with no online leaderboards, we might add), Drift Trial (again, no leaderboards and no set goals), and Single Race. That\u2019s it.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Wow.  You would think there would at least be an option to upload your laptimes.  What happened to the PSP wi-fi abilities?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p> That\u2019s essentially what this game boils down to though \u2013 it\u2019s a collection game. A Pok\u00e9mon-style, monster hunting, collect-\u2019em-up with \u2018grinding\u2019 disguised as racing, and you\u2019re supposed to take satisfaction from needlessly hoarding cars instead of little yellow, pointy-eared monsters. Then trade them with mates who also want to get every car in the game for no reason.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"addtoany_share_save_container addtoany_content_bottom\"><div class=\"a2a_kit a2a_kit_size_ addtoany_list a2a_target\" id=\"wpa2a_1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.addtoany.com\/share\" onclick=\"__gaTracker('send', 'event', 'outbound-article', 'https:\/\/www.addtoany.com\/share', '');\" class=\"a2a_dd addtoany_share_save\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.calvertgames.com\/cgblog\/wp-content\/plugins\/add-to-any\/share_save_171_16.png\" width=\"171\" height=\"16\" alt=\"Share\"\/><\/a>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"><!--\nif(wpa2a)wpa2a.script_load();\n\/\/--><\/script>\n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Oh boy.
