In the interest of time, today I am only going to focus on the Falcons\u2019 picks.  Besides, we still have a long way to get to April 25.  More mocks to follow.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/life.atlantafalcons.com\/index.php?autocom=blog&blogid=4&showentry=1021\" onclick=\"__gaTracker('send', 'event', 'outbound-article', 'http:\/\/life.atlantafalcons.com\/index.php?autocom=blog&amp;blogid=4&amp;showentry=1021', 'J. Michael Moore');\" target=\"new\">J. Michael Moore<\/a> (of the official Atlanta Falcons\u2019 site) is on his third take of the 2009 draft \u2026<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cNo. 24 \u2014 Atlanta Falcons:  S Louis Delmas, Western Michigan (Previous Pick: Clay Matthews)<\/p>\n<p>Look him up and you\u2019ll read concerns about his ability as a run stopper but he\u2019s one of the more gifted players in pass coverage. His skills could translate to the \u201cinterchangeable\u201d safety position General Manager Thomas Dimitroff said he was looking for. He was a team captain and three-time All-Conference performer. He\u2019s been called \u201ca natural play maker.\u201d After some more consideration, I thought this a more logical pick.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Delmas is becoming a \u201cpopular\u201d pick for the Falcons, but I think the Falcons need help now, not in a two or three years after Delmas gets some NFL seasoning.  Maybe as an early to mid second round pick, but not as my first pick in the draft.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.ajc.com\/atlanta-falcons-blog\/2009\/03\/20\/english-goes-to-falcons-in-early-mock-draft\/\" onclick=\"__gaTracker('send', 'event', 'outbound-article', 'http:\/\/blogs.ajc.com\/atlanta-falcons-blog\/2009\/03\/20\/english-goes-to-falcons-in-early-mock-draft\/', 'D. Orlando Ledbetter');\" target=\"new\">D. Orlando Ledbetter<\/a> of the ajc.com Falcons Blog has offered his take on this year\u2019s draft.  Quoting Ledbetter, is almost like someone quoting my ramblings on this blog, but I digress.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201d It\u2019s no secret the Falcons will go heavy on defense in this draft. Here are couple of players to track over the next month. They\u2019ll likely still be available when the Falcons pick No. 24.<\/p>\n<p>-Northern Illinois defensive end Larry English.<br \/>\n-Ohio State linebacker  James Laurinaitis.<br \/>\n-Virginia linebacker Clint Sintim.<br \/>\n-Southern California linebacker Clay Matthews Jr.<\/p>\n<p>24. Atlanta Falcons: Larry English, DE\/OLB, Northern Illinois.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>At this point I think I can draw two conclusions.  First, everyone universally agrees that the Falcons will take a defensive selection with their first pick, but the position varies depending on the mock draft in questions.
