{"id":1086,"date":"2007-12-24T14:49:19","date_gmt":"2007-12-24T18:49:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.calvertgames.com\/cgblog\/2007\/12\/24\/christmas-eve\/"},"modified":"2007-12-24T14:49:19","modified_gmt":"2007-12-24T18:49:19","slug":"christmas-eve","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.calvertgames.com\/cgblog\/2007\/12\/24\/christmas-eve\/","title":{"rendered":"Christmas Eve"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Wishing you and yours a very merry Christmas!\u00a0 A few random thoughts before we move on to Christmas time.<\/p>\n<p>Sierra Pro Lives Again.\u00a0 No idea how or why, but the gun cocked fine yesterday morning, which made for a fun filled day of shooting paper and plinking.\u00a0 Alas, no squirrels, but still plenty of fun.<\/p>\n<p>The Sierra Pro definitely likes Crosman Premier Super Match (7.9 gr) and Beeman H&N Match wadcutter (8.09 gr) pellets better than anything else I have tried.\u00a0 I am working on a write-up; maybe later this week.<\/p>\n<p>After last night, I am 4 \u2013 2 with my 2007 Bowl predictions.\u00a0 It is a good thing I do not put money on this stuff.\u00a0 The first six games pretty much sucked, were pointless, and not worth watching, but I watched a few minutes of each anyway.\u00a0 We get a couple of days off before Bowl season resumes on December 26.<\/p>\n<p>I have spent a little time with WoW last weekend.\u00a0 For those few of you wondering what and where, I am currently adventuring in Dustwallow Marsh.\u00a0 Last night I found my first \u201cblue\u201d item, a Midnight Mace, but it is not something that my mage can use.\u00a0 I need to see if I can train to learn how to use a mace, or if I need to throw it up on the Auction House.<\/p>\n<p>The Atlanta Falcons stink.\u00a0 Before the season started I predicted five wins; these guys are even worse than I expected.\u00a0 Hopefully a decent draft pick is in order.<\/p>\n<p>Family time with the Grinch last night, and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer this afternoon, Candlelight service tonight, and then Santa time.\u00a0 Some neat stuff is in order for the kids tomorrow; more to come on that later.<\/p>\n<div class=\"addtoany_share_save_container addtoany_content_bottom\"><div class=\"a2a_kit a2a_kit_size_ addtoany_list a2a_target\" id=\"wpa2a_1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.addtoany.com\/share\" onclick=\"__gaTracker('send', 'event', 'outbound-article', 'https:\/\/www.addtoany.com\/share', '');\" class=\"a2a_dd addtoany_share_save\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.calvertgames.com\/cgblog\/wp-content\/plugins\/add-to-any\/share_save_171_16.png\" width=\"171\" height=\"16\" alt=\"Share\"\/><\/a>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"><!--\nif(wpa2a)wpa2a.script_load();\n\/\/--><\/script>\n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wishing you and yours a very merry Christmas!\u00a0 A few random thoughts before we move on to Christmas time.
