NFL Sunday Ticket (PS3 Gets More Options)

Sony just announced a partnership with DIRECTTV to offer access to NFL Sunday Ticket; this should be considered a decent option for someone without DIRECTTV.

At the start of the season, viewers who do not currently have access to DIRECTV will be able to subscribe to NFL SUNDAY TICKET at the season price of $339.95. Existing DIRECTV customers who already have NFL SUNDAY TICKET and NFL SUNDAY TICKET To-Go through DIRECTV can access the service on their PS3 for no additional charge.

If I ever decided (out of choice or financial necessity) to give up my Falcons season tickets, I would subscribe to the service. With that said, while I love the NFL, I cannot justify the additional $339.95 a year to have access to upwards of 14 games a week, when I can typically access 5-6 games on any given week. Not to mention that with the NFL Network and RedZone coverage, and all the highlight shows, I pretty much get saturated with football coverage day and night.
