Shaun Sullivan and Matrix Games released a beta version of their 1.1 update to PureSim 2005 Gold Edition. This update adds a few new tweaks and focuses on real player use within the PureSim engine.

Chris, how do you rate PureSim vs. OOTPB? I assume since you run an OOTPB league, that you think it is the better overall game.
If I am happy with OOTPB is there any reason for me to try PureSim?
PureSim is an interesting single player game, but if you only need one, I’d stick with OOTPB. With a few more additions, I think PureSim can compete.
